The organic cotton is noticeably softer than standard baby hats, and the snug fit around the ears actually stays put during naps. The tagless label is a nice touch for sensitive skin.

The knotted top is genius for adjusting the fit as my baby grows, and it really does stay snug like a swim cap. I just wish the organic cotton was a tiny bit softer out of the package, but it's still cozy enough for walks.
